Avery let Delaney wear her bunny ears so that she could wear her headband. Avery wants to be just like Delaney and copies everything she does.... I hope Delaney goes to Harvard!!
Next, we headed to Newport, Oregon for a mini vacation. We thought it was a good sign when one of the first buildings we saw was named after our little girl!
It was pretty cold and windy, but we still had fun going to the beach at the State Park...
We promised Avery she could swim at the ocean, but of course in Oregon, that means swimming in the hotel pool. She loved her Princess bathing suit!!
The Easter Bunny visited our hotel room! Here is Avery with her basket (thanks Grandma Kathy!) on Sunday morning....

After the chocolate buzz wore off, we got ready to go out for Easter Brunch...
Apple juice in a coffee cup just like mommy's and daddy's = 10 minutes of amusement...
Our hotel room had a great view. It was so nice to fall asleep listening to the waves crash in. Actually, Avery slept a record 12 hours!!! Much better than the 9 or 10 hours we're used to!
Our last stop in Newport was the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Avery was a little scared of some of the fish at first, and still freaks out by the sea lions, but by the end of the visit she had touched a starfish and tried to pet a shark! I don't think she really liked this shark too much though...
